Choosing between a General English course and an Academic English course is an important decision on your Aupair journey. Let’s help you make the right choice! 

General English courses focus on everyday communication, building vocabulary and improving fluency. It’s great for Aupairs seeking to enhance their English skills for daily life and social interactions. Academic English courses, on the other hand, concentrate on language skills needed for academic settings, such as writing essays and giving presentations. 

This option suits Aupairs planning to pursue higher education or work in professional environments. Both courses have their merits, so consider your goals and aspirations to choose the one that aligns best with your future plans. 

Of course this should be discussed and agreed with your host family first, but in most cases the right language school should offer you timetables that don’t conflict with your Aupair schedule.
