Pocket money that’s enough for the initial weeks
Driver’s license – only if you have one. Please note, driving rules in Australia may be different from the rules in your home country. You might also need to get a new driver’s license in Australia if needed. Ask your Host Family to help verify for you.

Insurance details – Only if you have insurance. You may need to apply for new insurance in Australia. Check with your Host Family if you’re planning to do so.

In some parts of Australia, it can get quite cool around the months of July and August. Since not all homes have central heating, you may want to place a coat and some jumpers in your luggage to keep you comfortable when you arrive. Always check the weather they say!
