What is GYMPY?
GYMPY stands for Gap Year Mentorship Program for Youth. At 99aupairs, we create an ecosystem to connect young adults who are eager to move out of their home with professional host families (i.e., doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs) who need additional assistance with their children. By building up this opportunity, young people get that first living- out-of-home experience without worrying about the high price tag of renting, moving out of home expenses, and time spent searching for a secured homestay.

Can everyone join GYMPY?
All candidates will go through our screening process and are required to get a police check, a working with children check, and are required to provide two references.
Our focus is on young adults aged 18-30, who love working with children and have experience of being confident around them (babysitting, swim trainer, childrens coach), who drive (a plus) and are fun to be around.
We will prepare you for the interview process to get an idea of what your future career ambitions are and recommend your best host families in the area where you desire to live or the lifestyle you wish to experience.
Our Process is EASY
Interest
Once the interest is received, you will be informed about your options based on your visa status.
Documentation
We help you prepare all the documentation for eligible students.
Schedule
We will shortlist host families for you to ensure that they are suited for your needs and skill level (i.e., schedule)
Interviews
We will help prepare you for interviews with the host families.
